1 FLUOROHYDROCARBON-BASED AZEOTROPIC COMPOSITION AND PSEUDOAZEOTROPIC COMPOSITION / ASAHI GLASS CO LTD
(PURPOSE) To provide the subject compositions each usable as substitutes of CFC while satisfying the excellent characteristics associated with conventional CFCs, each comprising at least two compounds selected from R225ca, R225cb, R244ca, R244cb, R235ca and R243cc. (CONSTITUTION) The objective compositions each comprising at least two of fluorohydrocarbons selected from 3,3-dichloro-1,1,1,2,2-pentafluoropropane (R225 ca),1,3-dichloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane (R225cb),3-chloro-1,1,2,2- tetrafluoropropane (R244ca),1-chloro-1,2,2,3-tetrafluoropropane (R244cb),3- chloro-1,1,2,2,3-pentafluoropropane (R235ca) and 1,1-dichloro-1,2,2-trifluoropropane (R243cc). For example, the objective azeotropic composition comprising 76wt.% of R225ca and 24wt.% of R243cc, or 67wt.% of R225cb and 33wt.% of R244cb.
2 OPERATION MEDIUM COMPOSITION / ASAHI GLASS CO LTD
(PURPOSE) To provide the subject novel composition composed of a specific hydrogen-containing halogenated hydrocarbon (mixture), usable as a substitute for fluorocarbon and having excellent characteristics as an operation medium, etc., for refrigerator, heat pump, waste heat recovery power plant, heat- exchanger, etc. (CONSTITUTION) The objective composition is composed of one or more kinds of hydrogen-containing halogenated hydrocarbons selected from R225ca (CF3 CF2 CHCl2 ), R225cb (CClF2 CF2 CHClF), R225cc (CHF2 CF2 CCl2 F), R226ca (CF3 CF2 CHClF) and R226cb (CClF2 CF2 CHF2 ).

Additionally, the peripheral element (BE) comprises preferably a signalling proxy server (SP) for transmitting messages (H.225, H.245) of the communication management element (CE).
5 SEASONING VINEGAR AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SEASONING VINEGAR / AIKAWA MICHIYO
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide seasoning vinegar improved in a preference as a seasoning, having a good mouth-feel, tasty, and having efficacy such as recovery from exhaustion, prevention against arteriosclerosis, an antitumor effect, and promotion of adrenocortical hormone formation, and to provide a method for producing the seasoning vinegar, capable of mass-producing the seasoning vinegar in a simple combination, by making good use of features of combined raw materials.SOLUTION: The seasoning vinegar is prepared by mixing 900 cc of vinegar for vinegared rice with ingredient thereon (Sushi) containing rice vinegar, noodle dipping broth, sucrose and table salt as base raw materials, 450 cc of rice vinegar based on rice and alcohol and having a degree of acidity of 4.5% and 225 cc of noodle dipping broth containing a favoring raw material formed of dried bonito and sea tangle, sucrose, table salt, seasonings such as amino acids and acidic materials such as citric acid to prepare an undiluted solution, then immersing 15g of sea tangle therein followed by aging the mixture for 1 week.

7 FILM AND SHEET CAPABLE OF FORMING THERMALLY STERILIZABLE AND EASILY OPENABLE PACKAGE / MITSUI PETROCHEM IND LTD
(PURPOSE) To provide the subject film and sheet having excellent thermal sterilizability, heat-seal strength and releasability, and containing a specific butene-1 (co)polymer and an (un)modified high-density polyethylene at specific ratios. (CONSTITUTION) The objective film and sheet can be produced by mixing (A) 8-49wt.%, preferably 12-15wt.% of a butene-1 (co)polymer having an average molecular weight of ≥100,000, preferably 750,000-1,750,000, a density of preferably 0.917-0.919 and a melt index of preferably 0.1-225g/10min and (B) 92-51wt.%, preferably 88-85wt.% of an (un)modified high-density polyethylene having a density of ≥0.941g/cc, preferably 0.945g/cc and a melt index of preferably 0.1-20g/10min with a twin-screw extruder, etc., and forming the obtained mixture by casting, etc.

9 BATTERY JAR FORMATION METHOD FOR SEALED LEAD-ACID BATTERY / MATSUSHITA ELECTRIC IND CO LTD
(PURPOSE) To improve the formation efficiency during the battery jar formation and decrease the reduction quantity of an electrolyte by performing a discharge before the pole reversal of an electrode plate in the electrode plate formation in a battery jar where the filled electrolyte quantity is restricted. (CONSTITUTION) An electrode plate group consisting of unformed electrode plates is assembled in a battery jar, a dilute sulfuric acid electrolyte 37 cc/cell with the specific gravity 1.225 is filled, a charge is performed with a constant current 0.8A, and a discharge is performed with the current 0.8A for 1hr at 12hr after the start of excitation. This discharge is performed at this time to uniformize the charged state of the electrode plates at an early stage and improve the formation efficiency.
10 COMPOSITIONS FOR IMPROVED CERAMIC ARMOR / BAE Systems Advanced Ceramics, Inc.
The present invention contemplates the addition of zirconium compounds to well known ceramic ballistic materials to increase resistance to penetration by projectiles. In the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the zirconium compound that is employed consists of ZrO2 and is provided in the range of about 0.1% to about 11%, by weight, of starting material before densification. Preferred ranges of proportion of ZrO2 in the finished ceramic material are in the ranges of about 0.30% to about 0.75%, by weight, or about 8-9%, by weight. The ballistic material using the combination of SiC with low volume of sintering aid and ZrO2 raises the theoretical density of the ceramic material to between 3.225 and 3.40 g/cc, which is slightly higher than the typical 3.22 g/cc theoretical density for hot pressed fully dense SiC. The unexpected result that accrues through combining silicon carbide and zirconia consists of the creation of controlled defects in the finished ceramic that increase the surface area that is fractured during a ballistic event, enhancing spreading of the forces imposed on the ceramic material by a projectile and, as a result, the ability of the ballistic material to withstand higher forces while resisting penetration.
