1 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR TEXT DETECTION / CANON INC
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for text detection in a natural image and a method and system for text information extraction.SOLUTION: A method for detecting a text region in an image including at least one connected component (CC) includes: a TBR detection step 310 for detecting at least one text background region (TBR) from an image; a CC filtering step 320 for ensuring at least one candidate text CC by filtering at least one CC; and a CC grouping step 330 for forming at least one CC group by grouping at least one candidate text CC on the basis of the TBR detected in the TBR detection step and generating at least one text region on the basis of at least one CC group. A location of a text in an image can be promptly and/or accurately shown, and as a result, performance in text detection increases.
2 폐유를 주성분으로 하는 물비누의 제조방법 / 이수응
본 발명은 물비누 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 특히 동식물성 폐식용유와 가성소다로 이루어진 고형가루의 조성물에 일정비율의 물을 배합하여 형성된 물비누를 사용함으로써 동식물성 폐식용유에 의한 환경의 오염을 줄이도록 하는데 주안점을 둔 물비누 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 동식물성 폐식용유를 이용한 세제비누로 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 동식물성 폐식용유 1200㎖와 가성소다 175g 및 물 330cc의 배합비율로 형성된 고형비누에 있어서, 상기 고형비누를 알갱이비누로 분쇄한후 알갱이비누 250g과 물 800cc±10%의 범위에서의 비율로 20~30분정도 혼합가열하되 먼저 알갱이비누 250g에 물 200~300cc의 비율로 혼합가열하여 용해시킨후 나머지 물을 혼합가열하여 냉각후 액체상태를 유지하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
3 OBJECT EXTRACTION IN COLOUR COMPOUND DOCUMENTS / CANON KABUSHIKI KAISHA
Disclosed is a computer implemented method of text extraction in colour compound documents. The method connects similarly coloured pixels of an image of a colour compound document into connected components (CCs); classifies each CC as either text or non-text; refines the text CC classification for each text CC using global colour context statistics; groups text CCs into text blocks; recovers misclassified non-text CCs into a nearby text block; and removes extraneous CCs from each text block using local colour context statistics to thereby provide the extracted text in the text blocks. Also disclosed is a computer implemented method of locating graphics objects in a colour compound document image. The method connects similarly coloured pixels of said image into connected components (CCs) and placing the CCs in an enclosure tree; classifies (330,730) each CC into one of a plurality of classes wherein at least one class (862) represents salient graphics components; identifies (1140) a graphics container (441) to perform semantic analysis for each CC of said class representing salient graphics components; profiles (1170) descendents of said graphics container in said tree to obtain semantic context statistics; and decides (1710) whether the graphics container contains a whole or part of a graphics object based on said semantic context statistics.
4 POWER SUPPLY UNIT DC-DC CONVERSION / PHILIPS CORPORATE INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY GMBH, BE
The invention relates to a power supply unit for direct current to direct current DC-DC conversion having multiple outputs. Such power converters comprise a DC-AC converter 100, a transformer 200 and a plurality of AC-DC onverters 300-i i=1...n each for generating an individual DC-output voltage Vi being provided to a respective load impedance 330-i. Lossy components in said transformer and said AC-DC converters cause undesired voltage drops causing undesired fluctuations of the DC-output voltages. A reduction of said fluctuations of said DC-output voltages is achieved by feeding-back the DC-output voltage of at least one AC-DC converter to said DC-AC converter. Starting from that prior art it is the object of the invention to improve a power supply unit for DC-DC conversion such that a more uniform sharing of the fluctuations of the output voltages is achieved easily and cheaply. This object is achieved according to the present invention by connecting an auxiliary impedance 340 in series to the load impedance connected to one of said AC-DC converters.La presente invention concerne une unite d'alimentation pour la conversion de courant continu-continu comportant une pluralite de sorties. De tels convertisseurs de puissance comporte un convertisseur CC-CA (100), un transformateur (200) et une pluralite de convertisseurs CA-CC (300-i i=1 n) chacun permettant le generation d'une tension de sortie individuelle en courant continu (Vi) fournie a une impedance de charge respective (330-i). Des composants a perte dans ledit transformateur et dans lesdits convertisseurs CA-CC provoquent des chutes de tension indesirables entrainant des fluctuations dans les tensions de sortie en courant continu. On peut obtenir une reduction desdites fluctuations desdites tensions de sortie en courant continu-continu par realimentation de la tension de sortie en continu d'au moins un convertisseur CA-CC vers le convertisseur CC-CA. A partir de cet etat de la technique l'invention propose l'amelioration d'une unite d'alimentation pour la conversion CC-CC de maniere a realiser aisement une repartition uniforme des fluctuations de tensions a moindre cout. Cela est realise selon la presente invention par la connexion d'une impedance auxiliaire (340) en serie a l'impedance de charge reliee a l'un desdits convertisseurs CA-CC. 본 발명에 따른 배터리 충전회로는 배터리(battery)를 충전(charge) 하기 위한 배터리 연결부(330); 상기 배터리(battery)가 충전(charge) 되도록 전기신호를 제어하는 컨트롤러(controller, 310); 상기 배터리(battery)에 충전되는 정전류(CC) 또는 정전압(CV)을 감지하고, 제어하기 위한 정전류(CC)/정전압(CV) 회로부(320); 및 상기 배터리(battery) 충전 시 요구되는 한계 전류(current limit, ILim)를 감지하기 위한 충전전류감지부(340)를 구비하되, 상기 정전류(CC)/정전압(CV) 회로부(320)와 상기 컨트롤러(controller, 310)는원 칩(one chip)으로 구성됨에 기술적 특징이 있다.본 발명에 따른 배터리 충전회로는 배터리 충전 시 싱크(sink) 되는 전류(Iout)로 인하여 발생하는한계 전압(voltage limit, VLim)과한계 전류(current limit, ILim)에 대한 오차를 최소화 시킬 수 있는 장점이 있다.또한 본 발명에 따른 배터리 충전회로는 충전전류 감지 저항을 접지부(Ground) 쪽이 아닌, 전원 쪽에 연결함으로 충전 회로의 보드(Board) 상에 서로 다른 레벨(level)의 2개의 접지부(Ground)의 존재로 인하여 발생하는 EMI (Electro-magnetic interference) 잡음(noise)을 줄일 수 있는장점이 있다.
6 MULTIPLEX MODE AMPLIFIER / YOKOGAWA HEWLETT PACKARD LTD
(PURPOSE) To increase the power efficiency, by selecting a linear mode or a switching mode in response to the level of an input signal. (CONSTITUTION) The signal CC transmitted through a line 45 is supplied to an amplifier 310 which works in a linear mode as well as to an amplifier 330 which works in a switching mode respectively. The output signals of both amplifiers are supplied to a mode selector 3700. The selector 3700 supplies the output of a pulse width modulator 3500 to a power amplifier 390 when the amplitude of the signal CC is larger than 1V on the line 45. While the output signal of the amplifier 310 is supplied to the amplifier 3900 when the amplitude of the signal CC is smaller than 0.5V. When the amplitude of the signal CC is set between 0.5∼1V, the selection has a hysteresis action. A switching mode is used for such as big action as to drive a servomotor; while a linear mode is used for a fine adjustment. Thus, the power efficiency is increased.
7 PORT CONTROLLER AND ELECTRONIC APPARATUS / ROHM CO LTD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a port controller capable of executing initial negotiations in a dead battery state.SOLUTION: A port controller 300 is compatible with the USB (Universal Serial Bus) Type-C standard, and can be used for an apparatus that can operate as a sink device. An interface circuit 330 can communicate with an external main controller 210. A transceiver 320 can communicate with a source device 400 via a CC (Configuration Channel) pin of a receptacle. A control unit 340 can perform negotiations with the source device 400 via the transceiver 320. A pin control circuit 310 controls the state of the CC pin and monitors the state of the CC pin. A power supply circuit receives a bus voltage supplied from the source device 400 and generates a power supply voltage VDD2 for the main controller 210.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal halide lamp capable of irradiating light having a wavelength ranging from 300 to 330 nm. SOLUTION: The metal halide lamp comprises a rare gas 1, an airtight receptacle 2, electrodes 3 and 4 and lead wires 5. In the metal halide lamp in which at least mercury and talium iodide are sealed, providing that an inner diameter D of a discharge tube is in the order of ≤30 mm and an input power per centimeter of a discharge tube length (W/cm) is 60 W/cm or more and a potential gradient D (V/cm) at stable lighting conditions is from 9 V/cm to 30 V/cm, a sealed quantity M (mg/cc) of indium, manganese and bismuth respectively is ≥0.01 mg/cc.
9 Method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy rod head / HARISON TOSHIBA LIGHTING CORP
A method for manufacturing an aluminum alloy rod head, wherein an aluminum alloy material is placed in molds of a panel, an upper cover, and a bottom plate; and then the molds are mold-cast to be formed as casings. The inner surfaces of the casings are installed with transversal enhancing bodies and longitudinal enhancing bodies. Therefore, the weight can be controlled easily and the ratio of the thickness thereof is also controlled easily. Moreover, the mold can be removed conveniently. Then, the connections of the casings are welded to be formed as a super large (above 330CC) rod head.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide alumina useful as a carrier for manufacturing catalysts, a catalyst or an absorbent, an alumina extrusion molded article and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: There are provided alumina having surface area of 330 to 400 m2/g, pore volume of 1.2 to 1.7 cc/g and average pore diameter of 125 to 160 Å, further an alumina extrusion molded article with diameter of 1 mm to 3 mm, surface area of 300 to 360 m2/g, pore volume of 0.8 to 1.3 cc/g, pore diameter of 90 to 130 Å, crush strength of 1 to 2.5 daN/mm, and a manufacturing method of the alumina and the alumina extrusion molded article, in which metal carried amount is increased, metal dispersion rate is enhanced and catalyst inactivation due to pore blockage is delayed.SELECTED DRAWING: None
