METHOD AND ARRANGEMENT FOR TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING ENCODED IMAGES / KONINKLIJKE PHILIPS ELECTRONICS N.V. TeleWeb services are currently being developed, in which HTML-encoded images are transmitted in the vertical blanking interval of a conventional analog television signal. For special applications, such as subtitling and targeted advertising, the relevant TeleWeb images must be displayed substantially in synchronism with given video frames of the television signal. This is achieved by transmitting the encoded images in advance and provide them with a time stamp (33) which specifies the display time in terms of a reference clock. The reference clock is preferably derived from the teletext clock time (31,32). A possible display time stamp format is hh:mm:ss'ff, where ff specifies a frame within a second. At the receiver end, the teletext clock is interpolated to reconstruct the reference clock, and the subtitles are buffered until the display time stamp matches the actual clock time. |

CARD DEVICE FOR CAR WASHING MACHINE / DAIFUKU CO LTD (PURPOSE) To provide a card device for car washing machine promoting the use of car washing machine. (CONSTITUTION) A prepaid card reader/writer 26 is provided with an oil supply point addition switch 32 selecting a card point addition and a key switch 33 inputting gasoline purchase amount on its external surface. The reader/writer 26 is provided with a control means adding the points according to gasoline purchase amount to a prepaid card when the oil supply point addition switch 32 is operated and gasoline purchase amount is inputted by the key switch 33. Thus, because the points of the prepaid card are added according to the gasoline purchase amount, a car washing machine can be used by this added points, the use of the car washing machine can be promoted, and the number of times of the use of the car washing machine can be increased. By linking the sales of gasoline and the use of the car washing machine in an SS, the service to user can be improved and the advertising effect of car washing service can be improved. |
