The (SS-DST) function is an advertisement, food storage, food delivery, public wifi hotspot, and may be towed by any vehicle. The (SS-DST) has the option of providing a virtual delivery man video chat to customers via a screen, speakers, and microphone. The (SS-DST) has solar power capabilities used to power its equipment and can charge other electronic vehicles towing the innovative trailer. The (SS-DST) has the option of delivering advertisement via a roof installation signage display. All systems can be edited or monitored via wireless cellphone networks or wifi remote connections. The lockers are temperature regulated and can be monitored via a remote controller (VDM) from anywhere in the world.
2 SUPERHEATED STEAM STERILIZER FOR GRANULAR FOOD / PARCHITEC INC
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizer for granular food making it possible to shorten contact time with moisture-containing processed material sensitive to heat, and structured so as not to give excess heat except when sterilizing the processed material.SOLUTION: In the sterilizer for granular food, granular food G is continuously conveyed in one direction while put on a porous conveyer in a horizontal posture or a posture similar thereto. The granular food flows perpendicularly to the conveying direction under the condition of preventing contact with air, momentarily comes in contact with normally pressured or decreasingly pressured superheated steam SS. The granular food G and a cooling space CL structured so that the granular food G made contact with the flow of the superheated steam SS is immediately brought into contact with cold air CW to be momentarily cooled.COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
3 A REUSABLE, ENVIRONMENT-FRIENDLY, METAL-BASED SLOW-FEEDER BOWL AND A METHOD OF FABRICATING THEREOF / PADIA, Ashish
The present invention provides a stainless-steel slow feeder bowl 1 with made up of stainless steel (SS-304) and it can be used with an anti-skid rubber ring 101 which can be bonded with injection molding, silicon bonding and rubber ring. It can also be used without a rubber ring by just flipping the bowl 1(b). The stainless steel used in the present invention is a type of food grain steel i.e. SS-304. The present invention provides circular space for dog's food with hurdles 102 in the bowl; it slows down the rate of eating. The system advantageously provides better durability, corrosion resistant, physical strength and easy to handle.
4 USE OF THE SALMONELLA SPP TYPE III SECRETION PROTEINS AS A PROTECTIVE VACCINATION / The Board of Regents for Oklahoma State University
Salmonella enteric serotype Typhimurium is a causative agent for gastroenteritis. It is the leading cause of hospitalization and death caused by a food-borne pathogen in the US. As is the case with many gram- negative pathogens, Salmonella spp. use type III secretion systems (T3SS) to deliver proteins to host cells to induce infections. The T3SS uses a molecular syringe and needle, the type III secretion apparatus (T3SA), as a conduit for the transport of the T3SS proteins from the bacteria to the host. Because proteins associated with the tip of the T3SA are extracellular, they are potential protective subunit vaccine candidates against Salmonella. These pathogens also have a T3SS that is involved with intracellular escape from the vacuole with an associated T3SA. Within this invention, we begin to show proof of concept that these proteins are protective.
5 METHOD OF COOLING FOOD MATERIAL IN COOLING CHAMBER / ORION MACH CO LTD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy-saving performance of a food cooling process by lowering electric power consumption and improve the reliability by improving the durability of a refrigeration system and reducing the failure rate of the system. SOLUTION: Both of a pair of refrigeration systems 2a, 2b are operated to cool a food material F until the surface temperature Tf of the material F reaches the 1st setting temperature Ss lower than the freezing temperature. One of the systems is stopped when the surface temperature Tf reaches the 1st setting temperature Ss. When the surface temperature Tf is raised to the 2nd setting temperature Su, both refrigeration systems are operated again. When the surface temperature reaches the 3rd setting temperature Sd lower than the 2nd setting temperature Su, the operation of one of the refrigeration systems is stopped. The above control procedures are repeated until the inner temperature Ti of the food material reaches the 2nd setting temperature Su.

7 ANAEROBIC TWO-PHASE TYPE WASTE WATER TREATING SYSTEM INCORPORATING SEPARATOR / AKUA RUNESANSU GIJUTSU KENKYU KUMIAI
(PURPOSE) To efficiently treat even the org. waste water of a high concn., such as waste water of food producing factories, and to simultaneously and efficiently produce methane by providing an SS component separating membrane in a waste water passage connecting an acid fermentation tank and a biobed methane fermentation tank. (CONSTITUTION) The raw waste water 1 is treated in the acid fermentation tank 3 and is sent through an intermediate tank 4 to the SS (suspended solid) separator 5 where the SS and liquid are separated. The acid fermentation-treated water which is treated by the membrane 5 and does not contain the SS component is sent as membrane permeated water 6 to the methane fermentation tank 7. On the other hand, the concd. SS is returned as circulating water (membrane concd. water) 2 to the acid fermentation tank 3. The acid fermentation-treated water is sent to the methane fermentation tank 7 and is further made into methane, carbon dioxide, etc. The gas contg. a large amt. of methane is taken from the methane fermentation tank 7 and is utilized for various applications. The liquid treated in the methane fermentation tank 7 is treated by a screen 9 on the downstream of the intermediate tank 8 and is then released.
8 EFFLUENT TREATMENT METHOD / TAKI CHEM CO LTD
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To abate, for the purpose of alleviating, during a primary treatment of a food manufacturing effluent, biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) (which may also be chemical oxygen demand (COD) depending on parameters) loads of secondary and subsequent treatments, fine suspended substances (SS) contributing to such loads by using an inorganic coagulant applicable to a broad effluent pH range.SOLUTION: The provided effluent treatment method for food manufacturing effluents uses basic ferric chloride during a primary treatment of a food manufacturing effluent. An effluent treatment method for food manufacturing effluents uses, together with the basic ferric chloride, a polyaluminum chloride having a basicity of 58% or above and a dimethylamine-epichlorohydrin copolymer during the primary treatment is also provided.
9 METHOD FOR REFINING OF SOAPSTOCK BY ACIDULATION AND SOLVENT EXTRACTION / Rigas Tehniska universitate
The invention refers to the vegetable oil processing and energy sector, in particular the obtaining of raw material for the production of biodiesel from the oil refining process waste, called soapstock (SS), that is formed after the washing of the crude oil with an aqueous alkali solution. The invention is to be used for the industrial production of advanced biodiesel from the SS, which is generally considered a waste to be deposited and which cannot be used for the production of food. A high-yield high-quality acid oil, that can be used to produce modern biodiesel, is obtained via the developed two-stage process that includes the acidulation of the SS to pH 2-3 with subsequent high-temperature treatment in an ultrasound environment and the extraction of raw materials for the synthesis of advanced biodiesel from the resulting mixture using an ultrasound environment without prior separation of the aqueous phase.
